Paul was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey to parents Agnieszka and Tomasz Wasilewski.
He has three sisters, Monika, Julia and Leah.
He changed his birth name to Wesley, with his parents permission in 2005 as he believed it would be too hard for people to pronounce.
He can speak Polish, having spent 4 months there each year until he was 16.
He married his long-term girlfriend and fellow actor, Tory DeVitto in April 2011.
